White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As a baby dragon, Kanone used to sleep in trees.

He had a favourite horse chestnut tree that he never let any other dragons near. One day, when his wings grew in, a bigger bully dragon had sliced the tree in half. He flew over, and using his newly found healing powers, he tried to bring the tree back to life. It was too late, the tree had died.

The tiny dragon stayed there for hours trying to get his tree back but in the end, he accepted that his limitations wouldn't allow him to.

Snapping off one of the branches, he vowed to protect what was left of his childhood comfort for as long as he lived.
