Thunder Dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Needless to say, Tempest loves thunder and louds booms and displays of ability.  Tempest enjoys creating huge booms of lightning and thunder.  Some of the biggest ones catch the attention of nearly every dragon within a miles of him, but since he does it so high in the sky, it is somewhat quieter.  When he is done for the day Tempest will usually go spend time with the hatchlings to make sure he didn't scare any of them, which he feels guilty when he does and usually promises to do something for the hatchling to apologize for scaring them.  The kind of thing most of the hatchlings ask  is for him to make a cloud the shape of their choosing.  Despite having scared hatchlings before many are used to the thunder and is loved by most of them, despite appearing somewhat intimidating the hatchlings tend to think of him as "a big softie" which his mate likes to playfully tease him about.
