Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

After many years of suffering, this dragon's owner was fed up of feeling hate. He asked if there was a possible way to remove his hatred. His dragons completed his wish, but at a price. The hatred manifested into an egg ... This egg was tainted with pure evil. The egg's power was unstable, so the owner took a risky measure. He asked a couple of the vampires to bite this tainted egg. The vampires suffered some losses, but the deed was done. The egg was transformed into a vampire.

Now, as an adult, Lugia's Hatred learned the truth of his birth and the reason why he was often avoided. Lugia's Hatred still retains some of the original power he had as an egg. He wants to use that power for good and wants to start by helping in the effort to take down Elder Thanatos.
