Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Khusa dragons thrive in dry, desolate, and rocky areas. Though they can fly, Khusa enjoy honing their climbing skills on foot. Shortly after they hatch, parents are already teaching their young how to pick their way across cliff faces, escarpments, and thin ridges. The young are well cared for by their parents, but other Khusa in the area also look out for the young—despite not forming close-knit groups, these dragons form loose alliances with their closest neighbors. If a threat is spotted, they will attack from above and drive it to the ground where Khusa have an advantage.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Corpsepicker is a deeply unpopular dragon at the Breedery, except among certain of the autumn spirit breeds. He is welcome among the Black Marrows, for example, and the Vorare Desipis do not challenge him if he happens to cross their domain. He frequently visits the Milenko Witchlights in their treacherous, magic-haunted swamp. It's said that two of his grandparents are zombies, and he has been seen hanging out with—even nibbling at—the Breedery's undead. Corpsepicker creeps around Breedery land looking for dead things. He prefers 'aged' meat to fresh. If you get him going, he'll gladly explain the many stinks and savors of dead flesh, depending on its age, what species it came from, what part of the body... While some dragons will dip their dark heads in agreement, and discuss the topic like connoisseurs, most Breedery dragons are disgusted or horrified by Corpsepicker. His hoard consists mostly of interesting bones he decided to keep instead of gnawing them to pieces.
