Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Long ago Lunia Tsunoa loved a Sunstone dragon. However, he went on a venture and never came back. She wandered the land looking for him and finally collapsed at Ryoko's cave. Ryoko took care of the dragon until she was well enough to fly. To pay back her debt to the human, Lunia decided to stay at Ryoko's home and now cares for the eggs and hatchlings. But every night under the light of the moon she sings a song that is beautifully sad and enchantingly haunting to call her beloved back to her. Some say if a person hears her song and see the pale glow of her tail's stone they will never be the same.
