Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Albinos de Katie means Katie's albino in Spanish. Katie Gardeneir was her mother, and since Light Laughter was hoping to continue his lineage with a balloon baby, he didnt pay much attention to the albino baby and he didn't take it seriously, although balloon dragons rarely take anything seriously. When Katie Gardeneir noticed, she took full charge. She gave her baby a Spanish name, because she was determined to have that name, even though it was taken in English.

Albinos de Katies best friend is Mauvey, the purple dragon. They were raised together as hatchlings, and have been friends ever since. Mauvey tells her everything, and they're so close, they're like sisters. Albinos de Katie loves her name, and wants a baby of her own someday, albino or not.
