Desipis Dragons are an extremely dangerous breed, synonymous with the paths of desolation they leave in their wakes. These gargantuan beasts are infamous for their innate ability to control and manipulate the minds of others, which they use to pulverize the sanities of their foes and forge false memories. This power is especially effective on the foolish, and only the strongest-willed individuals have been known to resist a Desipis’s cunning. Most who anger Desipises do not live to tell the tale. Desipis Dragons are especially feared for their uncanny power of absorbing the magic of others with the fire they breathe and converting it into the bright reserves of crystallized mana that decorate their bodies.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Torment's only desire is to spread her blood as far and wide as she possibly can, whether it be through a weak, tiny Mint, or a massive, hulking Stone Dragon. Her intentions are unclear and most unusual, though the cave knows too little to make accurate inferences about the Desipis Dragon and its breeding.

One motive is for certain: Torment wants control. She and Tantrum go hand-in-hand with craving for leadership of the cave, but the female is much more determined and obvious about it. She actively challenges the other leaders, attempting to use her mind control abilities to force them into submission. Unfortunately, the Halloween Dragons seem to have particularly strong wills.

Torment believes that if she produces enough offspring, she'll be able to create an army to take over the cave. And if her children don't concur with her demands, she'll force them, as her mind control is easily the most powerful of all the Desipis Dragons.
