Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Stomping Pebbles is one of Phoenix's dragons. A somewhat solitary dragon that prefers to reside in the hills (under the pretense that he guards the northwestern borders, although in reality he is much too lazy to pay much attention to what goes on outside of his den) rather than spend his time in the cave with the other dragons, he can have a hot temper and act rashly, despite being among the circle of elders. He and Pelt of Ferns frequently butt heads when they are together, and it is generally agreed upon that this is because they are so much alike. Pebbles is also sometimes taunted (though only by the other elders, as no younger dragon would dare show such disrespect to the monstrous dragon) about his somewhat pathetic-sounding name, much to his annoyance, but he concludes that if the general opinion of his name is his biggest trouble, he ought to be content with his life.

Pebbles' long-time mate is A Paradox in Epitome, and together they make quite an attractive pair.
