Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

"I hate feeling like this" is the first dragon in the Comatose family. Each dragon in this family is named with a line from the song Comatose written and sung by Skillet.

At first "I hate feeling like this" hated her name. Now she knows the song and the purpose of her family and she feels better and can't wait to welcome more members to her family. Every time Keriel brings home an ochredrake egg she is there to nurse it safely to adulthood. And just to help she and the second in the lineage "IM so tired" are willing to breed as many as they can.

The comatose tune is often heard being chirruped and whistled by the pair. This can only make Keriel smile, and that is what the lineage is for.
