Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This hyperactive and enthusiastic Christmas Dragon, named Penguinarium, becomes over-excited about everything. He loves participating in "dare contests", and his favorite dare to do is taking a "polar plunge" into the icy waters of the alpine. Because of his passion, he has opened a small park where dragons can also take the plunge and win prizes such as food or riches. Dragons travel to this park, which he has aptly named the Penguinarium, to take the plunge and try their luck for fabulous prizes.

The most popular time for this challenge is around Christmas, when the prizes become even more grand because of the Christmas spirit. Overall, Penguinarium loves making other dragons have fun and be happy.
