Canopy Dragons love to soar above the tropical jungles and other densely forested areas. Their billowing, layered wings create generous lift that allows them to ascend effortlessly over the warm jungle. While their unique wings do not make them the fastest flyers, they are champion gliders. To further this end, dexterity, maneuverability, and grace are all judged by the females when selecting their mates from the males that can accurately complete the exhausting and elaborate courtship dance between the close growing branches of the upper canopy.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Canopical was the only one of the first four eggs to hatch, the other where abandoned, he wondered why, soon he realised that his owner didn't really like their breeds so had abandoned them. He loved the treetops and hopes that one day he would finally be given a mate of the same breed.

His love for the treetops had finally made him decide that the role of leader was not for him- still it was a hard decision. Finally he chose Silent Blues to lead.

Now he stays in the treetops and watches over the younger dragons that will come after him, teach them the right way to live a good life. He also fascinates the younger dragons with the stories of the clan before they were there. He lives a relatively peaceful life and enjoys the challenges that he comes across and hopes to watch over the clan as it grows, slowly but definitely growing.
