Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Venus can frequently be found in the throes of quiet joy, be she deep in meditation within her chambers or basking in the presence of other dragons. She is one of the more sociable of the Celestial dragons, and sees her duty in the raising of spirits rather than any more mundane means of power. Famed as a lover and a great influence, she claims many sincere friends.

Her Chosen of Serenity spread their calm outlook throughout the Celestial Dragons' bureaucracy and beyond to the realm of mere Pygmies, even daring to dabble their claws in the affairs of the Solar, Lunar, and Terrestrial dragons. Venus herself has been known to go out of her lair, fancifully named the Cerulean Lute of Harmony, and walk among less exalted dragons than she. However, nobody is sure if she really loves them, as she claims, or merely loves to use them for her own purposes.
