Harvest Dragons are a large, flightless breed most often found in heavily forested mountains. Normally shy, these omnivorous dragons keep to themselves in remote regions, but in the fall they descend from their high territory to search for food—and lots of it. During the autumn months, harvest dragons will eat whatever they can find, from large and small animals to nuts and fruit. In the winter they retreat into large caves and hibernate until spring, living off the fat they have built up.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
'Pony' was teased a lot as a hatchling. As an egg, she was spoiled, because the adults in the cave thought she may be some great and awesome breed: after all, they had never seen such an egg as hers, and so heavy! But when she hatched, things slowly changed. All she ever did was say nice things and collect food, and she ate a lot too.
The hatchlings began laughing at her and calling her big and other cruel names because of how much she ate and collected. When her owner Natasha asked her what she wanted to be named, she quietly sobbed that the nicest thing anyone had called her was a big muddy horse. Thinking of some almost-opposites quickly, Tasha came up with Little Brown Pony. That way, nobody was ever allowed to call her big again. As an adult, she is always kind and never calls anyone names.
