Anagallis Dragons are a medium-sized omnivorous breed. Widespread and adaptable, their easygoing nature enables them to flourish under most conditions. They are social creatures, fun-loving and outgoing, and will readily defend smaller dragons from others’ aggression. They are fond of sunshine, and can often be found basking on rocks; on cloudy or stormy days they are more reluctant to venture out, and will often hide themselves away until the weather is more favorable.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Zomko never knew his father, but he knew he was powerful, the fabled Guardian of Nature, which was why Zomko felt cheated out of his heritage. He knew all the stories of the powerful children of GoN's, the Avatars. They were practically demigods, and Zomko was nothing. His mother explained it was because of their neutral affinity, that his being normal was predestined to be, but he wouldn't believe it. So, he modeled himself after the wrathful Avatar of Destruction... he may not have powers, but he did have ambition. When young, Zomko tried to band together a group of Anagallis in his herd to help him conquer Galsreim. To the others, it was a fad. Their inherent benevolent nature stopped the others from being ambitious, but Zomko still lusted for power. When he was of age, he left his herd and wandered Galsreim, trying to recruit others for his cause. He didn't succeed. After years of hopeless wandering, his mysterious father confronted him. Zomko was finally at peace.
