Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dodotaru, like all of her kind, is a powerful magic user. Her magical abilities make her both a feared and respected dragon. However, where the majority of her kind tend to use their powers to feed on whatever prey crosses their path, Dodotaru will not eat meat unless the vegetation where she lives is scarce. She is a solitary dragon that takes pleasure in living as simply as she can. Dodotaru makes her home in the hollow base of a giant redwood that grows in the midst of a vast forest near several human settlements.

Dodotaru will often use her magic to heal any withered plants that are not growing from among the human gardens. Though she does these acts of kindness in secret, it is more than enough of a reward for her knowing that the local villages will have food for the following season. A quiet helper that few rarely, if ever, see. Dodotaru will only show herself to people and other dragons that she feels can be trusted.
