Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

One of the accepted truths at Dragonhaven Island is that fosterlings almost always leave without a backward glance once fully grown, never giving their former home another thought.  Zanlir, though, represents one of the few exceptions.  His father was one of the first hatchlings to be taken in by Kalazor and Flora, and while he, too, left once fully fledged, the stories he told inspired Zanlir to seek out Dragonhaven Island.  Despite some initial friction with Myrnekal and Henley Hornbrook, who both viewed him as potential competition, Zanlir has settled in well, finding a place as hunter and guardian.  While occasionally too impulsive for his own good, Zanlir usually has sense enough to get himself out of trouble, but occasionally needs the help of Kalazor or Zalkos.
