Antarean Dragons are peaceful creatures shrouded in mystery. They are primarily found in the desert where they get most of their energy from sunbathing. Their most notable traits are their highly reflective manes and the mysterious light emitted by their scales which fades from bright, nearly blinding yellow-white into dim red as the dragons get older. Legend claims that they are otherworldly beings that came to this world when a meteor struck.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A very stingy beast, GoldenGild will hoard whatever she pleases, and she never shares her food or treasures with anyone. Despite her raw personality, she is a good friend at heart and hates to be left out or ignored by her comrades and den-mates. If she is ever excluded from the rest of the dragons she lives with, she'll be hurt dearly. Her mindset is always "everything is all mine", but she really cares about her buddies the most and cares more about them than the shiniest pearl or the greenest emerald.
