Copper Dragons are masters of stealth, slipping silently and swiftly through the forests and jungles where they live. Often hunting in groups, their prey rarely know they are being stalked until the dragon’s at their throat. In the air they are agile and skilled. Copper Dragons prize family groups, spending large amounts of time teaching their young skills. So great is their love of life and family that they will sometimes adopt orphaned dragons of other breeds to raise.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As one of the oldest dragons in the Zeta tribe, Z'lora has taken it upon herself to care for the young dragons of the group. Her own children have not remained with the Zeta dragons, and she misses them greatly. She is very kind, and cares diligently for the Zeta hatchlings.

One day, Z'ekiela herself told Z'lora to go and meet a new member of the tribe. "I think you'll like this one," the Snow Angel said, smiling. Curious, Z'lora went to seek out the new dragon. Walking through the woods, she came across a Copper dragon that was nearly her twin in appearance. She was amazed at the resemblance, and quickly asked to know the dragon's name. "I am Z'auli, daughter of Auxli, and I have come to join the Zeta tribe. But what an odd coincidence, to find one so like myself already here!" Z'lora began to laugh. "Something greater than coincidence has called you to us, child of my child. I am truly glad to meet you at last."
