Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Little Estella was not the luckiest of dragons when she was young. Her adopted mother was cruel, and taught her young Estella that love was an evil thing. As a result, her heart began to grow stone-cold.

That all changed when she met Little Pip. He had big dreams of becoming a classy, respected dragon. Little Estella was fairly well-off, and he wanted to impress her. At first, Little Estella taunted him for trying to win her over.

In the end, however, Little Pip was able to warm her icy heart. She learned that love is a special thing to be cherished, and took Little Pip on as her mate.
