Script Dragons are named for the markings along their wings and sides that look almost like calligraphy. The patterns correspond to no known language, and are slightly different on every dragon. These dragons only develop the characteristic markings when they reach maturity, and they are fairly capable with magic once the patterns appear.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Daily Briefings was born during that time worldwide when all the humans in all the caves had to spend a protracted amount of time at home alone in order to prevent the spread of a highly infectious virus. Briefings was supposed to be the highly-informative, up-to-date disseminator of important information regarding the progress of the virus and the efforts to keep it in check. Briefings, however, used the time to boast about himself, and to give lots of inaccurate unproven medical advice, advice that turned out to be downright deadly when some hapless humans followed it. Fewer and fewer dragons showed up for the updates as time passed but Briefings never let that bother him, he was so busy pontificating that he barely even noticed their absence. Among a sea of script dragons that look a lot alike, Briefings can be easily identified by the unusual but very distinct orange hue of his scales.
