Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

From the very day of his hatching, Sunrise of Life spent much of his young life dancing a daring tango with death. When he was only minutes out of the shell, Sunrise caught a terrible illness, one which ravaged his body for days on end. The atmosphere in the cave was tense, every dragon wishing for the revival of the sick, quarantined little hatchling. Yet the mood was pessimistic. Many eggs and hatchlings had grown sick in the past, but none quite as sick as Sunrise. Imagine, then, everyone's surprise when the little dragon began to heal. Slowly, the illness left his body, and he gradually grew well again. He was given another chance at life, and matured gracefully into the adult he is now. Now, his sunny composition does not belay the harsh life he suffered when young. Ever the optimist, Sunrise believes in living life to the fullest, and that good things come to those who try their hardest. And so he has done, and so he will for the rest of what will be a long, full life.
