Geode Dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Princess Diamondheart, originally called Alexandra, is a much loved dragon. Though she is not very attractive at a glance, a gentle lift of her heavy wings and a turn of her lumbering form reveals thousands of stunning, brilliant crystals, reflecting her own inner beauty. She joined her clan's caretakers as soon as she was of acceptable age, and the hatchlings were immediately enchanted with the strange, sparkly lady presented to them. She quickly joined the ranks of mother figures with the teachings of her mentor, Fyreflower. One day, Princess Adalgisa told her "Allie, I want to be a pretty princess like you when I grow up." She fetched a little pink flower from a nearby patch, and climbed onto her back so that she could place it on her head, repeating the process over and over again. The ridiculous hat was the most beautiful thing in the world to the child, and from then on every hatchling took to calling her "princess."
