On sunny days when the sea is clear and sparkling, coastal villages are often treated to a spectacular sight. While normally shy, Tideweaver Lindwyrms are emboldened by fair weather, and when one starts to dance, the rest soon follow. However, their intricate fins and complex dances are more than just a dazzling show. Tideweavers rely on slight changes in their movements and fin positions to communicate with others of their kind. This communication is key; the lindwyrms are almost always found traveling within tightly bonded family groups. To show affection, they have been known to gently hold one another with their small front legs.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Quarz was not raised above ground as a hatchling as most dragons were. Instead, his egg was hatched underground, never to see the light of day. Sadly enough, neither was the infant that hatched from it. Quarz has only known darkness, having been born completely blind. Though his eyes are the familiar milky blue that comes with the disability, his other senses are far superior than others with sight. He's adapted to his surroundings, and manages to survive. However, his social skills are about as developed as his seeing skills. Many of the others in the lake are put off by his inability to see, and tend to stay clear of him. Only his fellow Red-Finned Tidal's choose to be around him. As the same breed they have a mutual understanding among them, and they all protect each other, much like a family.
