Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Kiyomi had difficulty finding her niche in the dragon realm until she met an ancient wyrm who had been missing his left leg for many years.  She used her knowledge of origami and a magic similar to that of her creator to craft a working synthetic limb for the ancient wyrm out of paper.  Kiyomi's purpose is to give horribly wounded dragons a new life by creating prosthetic limbs for them out of magical origami.
