Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. His usual reaction to this is to arch his cherry blossom-pink noble neck and flex maize-yellow wings with surprising flair and style. Apart from this show of vanity, Arco is a bright, optimistic dragon; well-grounded in strong morals and primarily known as the Riversong Herd's trend guru. He can often be seen taking workshops or showing aspiring trend-setters in the herd how to 'Bring out your Style'. He even has his own mini cult following. Amoroso, his shy, elegant wife is his main inspiration and the ultimate love of his life. Although strongly rumored to be true, he is not attracted to other male dragons.
