Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. No matter where it goes or what you do, you find this hatchling staring at you.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This hatchling, once all white, applied to a popular show 'Pimp My Hide' on MTV (the Millennium Theatre Variety). Anyone who wanted to participate had to send in a parchment wherein they described why they were discontent with their current state. Any hatchling chosen would win a makeover at the tattoo specialists of West Cave Customs. The hatchling won, and the presenter of the show, a somewhat well-known minstrel named Eggzibit, picked the hatchling up for the makeover (which was done under anesthesia). Unfortunately, the first thing the hatchling heard when it regained consciousness was Eggzibit saying: "Yo dawg, I heard you like flames so we put some flames on your hide so you can flame people when you hide." That was the moment the hatchling realized that Reality Theatre is a bad thing...
