Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Cerulean Skylark will be called nothing but Skylark. Like any other Skywing dragon, she'll fly for long periods of time and rest occasionally. Whenever she comes home, she lets Freyanna join her for a bit until they get tired and fly home. She enjoys this company, along with the company of her mate, Key. She is glad to see that even when Star abandons an egg, that her egg is well taken care of. Whenever Snowflake is in a rage and Skylark is home, Skylark will usually fly away. She doesn't come back until she decides its time to go home again.

She has found out her parents are from Green Island, however, having lived with Star for so long, she has decided to stay here with her family rather than fly over the ocean to search for Green Island.
