Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Rambai is often criticized by the other neotropicals for being so reclusive, but he just can't help it. He prefers the sweet, comforting sound of music to the raucous chittering of his family. Living alone in his cave in the rainforest, Rambai dedicates almost all of his time to making instruments and music, leaving very little for hunting and gathering. His favorite invention to date is what he calls a 'dinglehoo', an immense instrument that is reminiscent of both a bass and a bassoon. The dinglehoo runs the entire length of Rambai's cave and is made up of several thousand tightly strung dragon horse hairs and a hollowed out tree. No one knows about the dinglehoo besides Rambai, so he is the only one who knows how to use it. The dragons of the rainforest cower in fear when they hear loud thrumming sounds reverberating through the forest all night. Rambai's family has taken to leaving an offering out for the strange forest spirit that makes the terrifing noises.
