Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Alazne is a rather pretentious dragon. She likes to show off and can get very emotional, especially if she doesn't get her way. The only thing that really balances her personality is that of her mate, Ruven.

Alazne was used to having males dote on her constantly. Many found her beautiful, and so she always had a group of hopeful males following her. She, however, wasn't interested in any of them. She had eyes for only one dragon. A moonstone named Jervaid, even though he had no interest in her, and was so obviously in love with another.

She tried everything to get his attention, but nothing worked. These failures would usually send her into fits of anger or sadness and the other dragons wouldn't dare approach her, for fear of angering her further. Except one, a shimmer-scale named Ruven. He comforted Alazne, even when she really had no right to be upset.

In time, Alazne stopped caring about Jervaid. Instead she happily became Ruven's mate and they now have several children.
