Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Cruentus Acerbus has been through a lot during his long life. He started out as a member of the Dragon Democracy, but his grim nature didn't inspire much trust in the others. Though he was very close with Felix Somniculosus, a Daydream, the other members of the Democracy wanted him gone. He was cast out and spent many years alone until he found a female Hellfire hatchilng with the name Crudelis Nocens. She had escaped from her cruel parents and so Cruentus took care of her. Then he met another who changed his life - the Silver dragon Elatus Argenteus - also a cast-out. They bonded despite all of their differences and swore an oath to protect each other from harm. They created together the Holiday Clan where all of the Holiday dragons gather. He has a Vampire mate called Sola Luctisona and takes care of Vivus Mortuus who is an undead hatchling. Even though Cruentus still tries to act vicious, his days of reckless violence are long behind him and now he is a loved leader.
