Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Adelaide Fontane is one of the three Flora Sisters. While not related by blood, these 'sisters' bonded closely as hatchlings while under the care of a human, and are now almost inseparable. All three of them are named after flowers, hence the nickname Flora Sisters. The other two sisters are Azalea Cleareyes and Lilac Gentleheart.

Adelaide, or Adel for short, is a bit infamous for being 'The Flirtatious Flora'. Whenever a free male passes by, she brings out all her coquettish charms to tease him with. Despite such promiscuous behavior, she has never actually mated or found a mate. If she's going to settle down, it's going to be with what she believes to be the perfect mate. Unfortunately, she has ridiculously high standards.
