Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Askae the LightBringer forever flies over the land, bringing hope and good fortune to the land she flies over. Sometimes, some say that the they have heard Askae singing a rather joyous tune at the very break of dawn when the sun's first rays break the night sky. Even more people of remote towns say that while the sun sets they have heard Askae echoing a cry throughout the land, almost a mourning cry. Askae prefers not to be seen often by human beings, for she believes that some humans seek her kind only so that they may gain good fortune. But Askae has seen some humans that merely wonder at her kind's beauty, and seek to gain nothing from her kind. She has befriended these humans, visiting them more often than other places.
Askae has no true mate, but currently a mate is not of her interest. She has not seen another of her kind for quite a while, but Askae thinks this is because she spends more time with humans in remote areas than most Sunsongs.
