Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright, shiny scales and loves to play in the sunlight.

And look! It’s grown a forked spade at the end of its tail and long, tufted whiskers! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Beezle Robijn is in training to serve Lennon's Luck, a Gold Dragon Elder. When he finishes his training, he will deliver rubies to Lennon's Luck's hoard. He has shown himself to be a prodigy of the art; he can almost sense where rubies will be hiding. He has impressed not only his Gold master, but also his teacher Luci Robijn.

Little does anyone know, Beezle has an evil plan. When he grows up, he plans to rob Lennon's Luck of her rubies and begin his own hoard in hiding. However, he has not discovered that his growth has been stunted. He will never become large or fast enough to carry out such a devious scheme.
