Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This fearless, steadfast electric dragon is the Beta of the Bo Clan, first in command when both Alphas are unavailable. Zav Spark deals out enough orders to keep the clan in order, but not too many so the dragons are overwhelmed. He can always tell when something is wrong in the clan, whether it be his business or not. He seems to have some sort of odd power to be able to identify danger from miles away. Zav Spark uses the electricity created by the beating of his heart to attack prey and enemies, warn others when they are being too annoying or rude, for defense and even to power his own body! Zav Spark's mate, Colourless Shimmer, never leaves his side and is known as the Elite Beta, the Beta when Zav Spark isn't around.
