Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Thrice-Bound Oramus stares forever into the stars—or he did, before his entrapment in the caves of Malfeas.
He was bound once within the caves, twice by the destruction of his original name, and a third time within the enchanted cage of his own wings. Nobody now knows what Oramus was originally called, and his current name—"We Pray"—was given him by his companions in chains, in honor of his constant, unflinching gaze.
The other Malfean dragons can read the seasons of the world outside by studying the shifting patterns of his wings; though the stone above blocks his view of the stars, he remembers them so vividly that their patterns still move across his body. To stare into the eyes of Oramus is to stare into the abyss of space.
Some say that one day, Oramus' prayers will be heard and he will fly free beneath the stars once more. Some say that he has already found a way to slip free of his prison—of his body itself—and that some fragment of his power is already loose.
