Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Racestar was actually named for his habits to use his weather abilities to clear the sky at night, revealing the stars and moon, so that he and the other dragons could start their races. Racestar is usually stuck up and a little selfish except when it comes to his beloved Herra, his Life Mate. He will defend her till the end of time and was there for her when she was in need. He still feels ill will towards Ayone, the dragon who broke and still holds a small piece of Herra's heart, but promised her that he would not pick a fight. Racestar spends most of his time with Herra but also accompanies Kiroe on her journeys for protection, transportation, and company.
