Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Like his good friend, Leo Drake, he doesn't care much for fighting, and avoids it whenever it isn't necessary. He is almost never seen on the battlefield, and is always found in one of the pack's smaller caves, treating and tending to the injured, dragon or human. Laurent the Beast is usually found in Draken's company, always needing some kind of injury healed, which worries DrakenHealer deeply.
