Thunder Dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Brian—Not the Messiah, like her name suggests, is not the messiah. She just isn't. Full stop. End of story. She doesn't know who started the wild rumours of her being the 'saviour and great leader that dragon and human-kind alike have been waiting eons for the arrival of,' but she really wishes that they hadn't. The rumour has spread so far in such a short space of time that she's taken to adding the suffix '-not the messiah' to her name and makes it explicitly clear in her introductions that she is. Not. The. Messiah. She patiently awaits the time when all the gossip has ceased and she can fly the skies in relative peace, without getting stopped to give blessings to a mewling hatchling or heal a sick dragon; just because she's not the messiah doesn't make her a doctor or even a healer...
