Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its skin is smooth and doesn’t seem to have any color to it.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Polluz was always a strange hatchling. He wandered into the cave one day, dazed and confused. He never spoke, never socialized with anyone, never even stayed near the other dragons; he usually hangs back in the corner and watches the other dragons go about their business. The white dragons in the cave think he is under a spell, for he hasn't aged since he arrived; his wings haven't even come in. Despite being eternally young with no hope of flying, Polluz remains upbeat, cleaning out the other dragons' sleeping quarters and resting areas. He continues to clean, every other dragon content to let him do it as they don't care for cleaning themselves and Polluz never complains.
