Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Zeento is best known for her playfulness and general disregard of serious business. She lives in an area with a high population of black dragons, most of which are always hungry. Zeento focuses on her games with her friends, ignoring the circling predator dragons overhead. Many times Zeento has been snatched up, only to struggle free. Her back and wings are covered with scars, and most dragons think it is only by miracles she is still living. Her family has stopped trying to protect her long ago. Their thoughts are "if she makes it home alive, okay, but if she doesn't, too bad.".  Zeento is unaware of her family's philosophy about her, and that is probably for the best.
