Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Alejandro Castallanta, or Al for short, is a young Green Stripe dragon. When he communicates with other dragons, he has what would be considered an Italian accent by dragon standards. He is very romantic, and always tries to impress the females in his clan by playing what looks like a piano for dragons and singing sappy, obnoxious songs. However, most of the females get sick of his determination to impress them, and are almost never impressed by his attempts. However, Aolani Gazer thinks he's amazing, handsome, and perfect in every way, which annoys her mate, Spiritsong Snowflake. Therefore, Spiritsong and Al will often try to compete for her affections, usually by a "musical battle", in which they will either sing or play an instrument and have the clan vote on who was better. Since he flirts with every female in the clan (even ones with mates), he has no specified mate.
