Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

CloudyMind lives up to his name and is one of the most forgetful dragons in the entire cave. Because of this he does not enjoys being cooped up in the cave. He finds that he is very easily lost in there and because of the enormous size he could be lost and living off of lizards for weeks on end. His favorite cloud is perched just above FireStar mountain. The mountain was preserved for any dragons that prefer living in the lush mountain breeze and high altitude. So far it has been unused and the only breed that is liable to live there are the Ridgewing dragons. All the others prefer to live on better level ground. From his cloud he sees the whole territory and loves to visit. But, he gets sidetracked easily and almost never goes to his cloud after all.
