It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Drakon Glupyy Volk, or Glupyy, is one of the many sons of Hakumei and Tsukimi; he was raised alongside his brother Guum-Ban Ji and his sister Milaya, as well as his younger brother Gijeog- Neugdae. His name means "Silly Wolf" in Russian, since he's always been... well, a little silly. He loves to tell jokes, and to laugh. He's got a great big laugh, the kind which can't be fake. He's very close to his mothers, and all of his siblings (there are a LOT of them now). He is mated to Solnyshka, a gorgeous female Sunset. Solnyshka reminds Glupyy a lot of his mother Hakumei, feisty and unafraid. That's what he loves so much about her; she's so strong. They met at a social event, and have been inseparable ever since. They're soul mates, and their love will last forever.
