Balloon Dragons are so named because they are filled with a gas that makes them almost lighter than air, similar to balloons. However, they are not prone to bursting, as they are covered in tough skin and can deflate themselves if necessary. In addition, they generally are slow moving. They use their gas bladders to float to the tops of trees, where food is more abundant. They can shift their weight from their backs to their fronts, allowing them to reach leaves and fruit.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Bilevith is a narcissistic dragon. Always has been, always will be—or, won't be. She is a mortal after all, and all mortal beings die eventually. Dragons only live longer than usual. That is all.
But Bilevith is determined to find a way to live forever... And she thinks she has. One way was one she heard by word of mouth—that vampire dragons live forever. But she can't become a vampire, for vampire dragons only convert eggs.
The other method she found was one much more sinister. She found it in an old tome, and believes it to be the way for her to achieve immortality—though, even to her, it feels rather extreme.
Her chosen path to immortality is... to become a zombie. Zombies cannot die, because they are already dead. They cannot become sick, nor does their appearance change from death.
The tome states that the revival must take place Hallow's Eve, else she'll be dead for good. Seeing as she missed Halloween this year, she's going to wait until the next to attempt it.
