Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Saecula Saeculorum (Latin for "World Without End") is the mother of the Gloria Patri line. She holds the honor of being the guardian of the clan. Her penchant for remaining motionless coupled with her nearly impenetrable stone scales have made her perfectly suited for the duty.

Though physically imposing, Saecula is a quiet, sedentary dragon, preferring solitude to the company of others. Though she is generally willing to communicate, few have the time or patience to endure her somewhat plodding narratives so she is left alone to guard the clan, the rustling of the trees and whispering of the wind her only companions in conversation.

Saecula can usually be located at the boundary line of the clan's territory, her dark, unmoving shadow barely distinguishable from the treeline and fog that surrounds the valley.
