Ultraviolet Dragons are a heat-loving breed that are most commonly found in hot, arid environments. These hardy dragons are omnivorous and will eat both plant and animal matter, even species with thorny physical defenses such as cacti. They are generally peaceful and often quite friendly, but males will become aggressive and cantankerous during the breeding season. Intense fights take place over females, sometimes resulting in injury for both combatants.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Yorune loves warm weather, but being in sunny areas all the time tends to make her feel drowsy as well. She will frequently take short naps during the daylight hours, moving with the progression of the shade so she gets maximum sunshine. Fortunately, putting herself in the path of the sun leads her to find plenty of plants and occasionally small prey to eat. Yorune's favorite thing to do is doze lightly on a patch of warm sand, with some cactus fruits nearby for nibbling.
