Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The Gold God is not an actual god, but he and his two partners, The Silver and Bronze Goddess, won the Great War of the God, where the three tinsels fought 100 vampire dragons all on their own. This tinsel fought the war because he wanted to show his courage. In his childhood, many dragons laughed at him for his cowardice. This laughter continued to bother him through out his entire life even though he wasn't cowardly anymore. This war proved he had courage.
