Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Wolf is good-tempered but rather lazy. During every season except winter, he spends most of his time asleep. No one knows if this is on purpose, or a coincidence of a naturally slothful temperament, but being asleep most of the time keeps Wolf from having to witness the many violent and otherwise unpleasant acts that occur in the Breedery throughout the year. Due to the harsh weather in winter, the Breedery dragons tend to be on their best behavior at that time—even the species not interested in 'holiday spirit' are too busy dealing with the cold and snow to have time or energy for any naughty behavior. So when the first snow begins to fall and Wolf comes bounding joyfully from his lair, he is always in a good mood. Unbeknownst to him, his brother Verse goes out of his way to make sure that Wolf never has to see anything that would spoil that cheer, a sacrifice which has permanently ruined Verse's own temperament. Wolf doesn't know why his brother is so angry, but loves him still.
