Falconiform Wyverns are normally shy creatures. However, when approached, they often feel threatened, and the flames along their bodies leap higher. Females tend to be smaller than males, though Falconiform Wyverns are typically rather large overall. They use their size to their advantage by hunting smaller dragons. The Falconiform’s graceful, swooping dives are said to resemble birds of prey. Falconiforms are largely solitary dragons that only meet in order to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Null is, to put it politely, an observer. He stands back and just watches. Always. He doesn't approach anyone—he's too scared to try, fretting over how relaxed they are in comparison to his high-strung self. No, Null feels that he's better off as simply watching other dragons interact, and maybe pretending that he's one of them. Besides, he figures that if he watches the other dragons enough, he'll eventually just... join them.

Lately, a Bright-Breasted Wyvern—the one that just about every dragon wants or wants to be—has been hanging around with him. Null felt a little uncomfortable with this at first—after all, it sounded like some kind of stereotypical story of the peasant and the king or something, but now he's good friends with Zach... And by the way Zach talks, probably his only real friend.

While being Zach's only support puts a lot of pressure on him, Null doesn't mind. He's actually happy about it, in a selfish kind of way.
