As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Windy Autumn Night is a night glory drake. She is very small compared to the other dragons, and due to her size, she can easily glide on the nightly winds as if she were a feather. However, it has its disadvantages as well, as she isn't as strong or sturdy as her clanmates. Although she loves to eat grapes and shares them with her fellow dragons, she also has a fondness for apples, and she trades her grapes to Sunny Blue Adventure, a nilia pygmy, for some every once in a while. When she isn't hunting prey or gliding on the winds she loves to ride, she spends her time flying around with her mate, Royal Golden Cliffdiver.
